Hiring the South Penrith Neighborhood Centre

South Penrith Neighborhood is available for hire for functions or for group activities.

It can be hired on a regular basis by groups e.g. playgroup, dance groups, seniors groups. Check our calendar to see which groups are currently using the centre.

It can also be hired by members of the community to hold functions and parties e.g. 18th and 21st birthdays, Golden Wedding anniversaries, Christenings etc.

The Large Hall seats around seventy (70) people seated at tables and chairs, and approx. one hundred (100) without tables.

In the smaller meeting room there is seating for about twenty (20) with tables and chairs and approx thirty (30) without tables.

There is a kitchen and an undercover outdoor area as well.

Fee Schedule

Fees Schedule For Hiring The Centre

1. Community Groups:

A Community group is one, which charges no fees except for tea, coffee and rental money. These groups are also open to the general public.

Large Meeting Room: $11.40 per Hour

Small Meeting Room: $9.30 per Hour

2. Commercial Groups:

A Commercial group is one, which charges a fee for participants and whereby the facilitator or company is provided with an income.

Large Meeting Room: $22.80 Per Hour (inclusive of GST)

Small Meeting Room: $17.60 Per Hour (inclusive of GST)

3. Private Functions:

Large and Small Room: $215.00 per day (Inclusive of GST)
(Night functions)

Children’s Day Time Parties $22.80 per hour (including GST) - (Max. 4 Hours)
(Under 12 years)

Christenings: $109.00 per day (including GST)

Key Deposit: $20.00

Bond & Key (refundable): $250.00

Bond & Key  18th-21st parties: $500.00

Failure to set alarm: $50.00

Alarm Call Out Fee: $50.00

A minimum hire period of two hours is required unless negotiated with the Management Committee.

Hiring the Cranebrook Neighborhood Centre 

The Cranebrook Neighbourhood Centre is managed by Penrith City Council. It has two halls which can be hired weekdays at an hourly rate or for your special function on weekends or evenings. The facility can accommodate approximately 80 guests. For hiring details or more information, please contact Penrith City Council on 4732 8021.
