Cranebrook Community Development Project

Nerida is our Community Development Worker working out of the Cranebrook Neighbourhood Centre on Mondays toThursdays each week from 8am - 4:30pm.

She’s there to work with the community and is able to provide you with information & assistance or referrals to other agencies. She can advocate for community issues and can often help when you have problems.

The Neighbourhood Centre is equipped with a photocopier and a fax machine which are available to the community with the supervision of a staff member. Cost is nominal. You can usually get help with letter writing and phone calls too.

It’s also a place where people can meet for various activities, build friendships and lay foundations for healthy communal living.

Take part in activities & groups at the centre or any of the community events run throughout the year. Check out the “What’s On” button on our Home Page to keep up with what’s going on, but to give you a bit of an idea, there are:

  • Excercise Classes
  • Womens Groups
  • Seniors Group

Maybe you have an interest, hobby or social issue you are passionate about & would like to start a group with like-minded people. Contact us & we will be able to support and assist you.
