Aboriginal Services - Breakfast Club for Koori Kids

The Breakfast Club runs every school day from the Cranebrook Neighbourhood Centre. A nutritious breakfast is served and Spyns Aboriginal community workers have the opportunity to support at-risk children and their families.

The program has been very successful - increasing school attendance, enhancing learning ability and concentration levels for the 35 children from High School and Primary School who attend daily and are provided with a wholesome breakfast consisting of Cereal, Toast, Milk and Juice. Thursday’s are extra-special with a hot meal being served – usually pancakes or bacon & egg rolls.
